 The Property

Set in the picturesque village of North Rigton, just outside Harrogate, this exceptional detached new build seamlessly blends traditional Yorkshire character with contemporary family living. Stone elevations and generous architectural openings preserve the property’s rural charm, while the interior has been carefully reimagined to create a bright, open-plan home designed for modern lifestyles.

 The Requirement

The client was seeking a complete window and door solution that would:

• Deliver a maintenance-free alternative to traditional timber and steel
• Provide excellent thermal efficiency to enhance year-round comfort
• Offer high levels of security throughout the property
• Maintain a slim, Heritage-inspired appearance in keeping with the barn’s character
• Ensure visual consistency, with matching profiles across all windows and doors

It was essential that the finished installation respected the agricultural location of the building while meeting the performance expectations of a modern home.

 

The Solution

To achieve the desired balance of style and performance, we supplied and installed a fully coordinated aluminium glazing system throughout the property.

We installed the Alitherm Heritage Window, chosen for its refined steel-look design and slim sightlines. These windows replicate the elegant proportions of traditional metal frames while incorporating advanced thermal break technology for improved energy efficiency.
