🏗️ Making way for more glazing at the Water Tower!

Work is progressing on this incredible Northamptonshire water tower conversion, and it’s fantastic to see another important stage of the transformation taking shape.

The concrete cut-outs are now being carefully prepared ready for Phase 2 of our Sheerline Classic full-height window installation. These new openings will eventually be home to bespoke aluminium glazing, helping to completely change the character of this imposing 20-metre-high concrete structure.

This is certainly no ordinary home! With the project featuring on Grand Designs, we’re excited to be playing our part in such an ambitious and unusual build. Transforming a former water tower into a family home presents plenty of interesting design and installation challenges, making it a brilliant project for the Marlin team to be involved with.

Once installed, the Sheerline Classic full-height aluminium windows will introduce much-needed natural light into the interior while taking advantage of the spectacular views from the tower. The slim aluminium profiles are also a great fit for the project, combining contemporary performance with a clean appearance that complements the building’s distinctive industrial character.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but every stage brings this remarkable conversion another step closer to becoming a truly unique family home.
