Our slim Heritage aluminium windows perfectly installed into this grade 2 listed farm house.

Alitherm Heritage 47 has been designed to offer a modern solution for heritage and renovations applications where the requirement to replace old steel windows is essential. 

Inspired by the aesthetics of traditional steel windows, Alitherm Heritage 47 features signature slim sightlines and attractive contours making it the ideal choice for heritage building conservation areas where building regulations demand a like-for-like replacement. The Alitherm Heritage window is designed to be built as a series of   horizontal modules which can be stacked using horizontal couplers to form a multi-part window featuring a specially design drip bar between modules.

The Italianate-style Almshouses in Saltaire Village World Heritage Site have benefited from our secondary glazing installed to 35 properties. Built in 1868 the Almshouses are currently undergoing extensive internal refurbishments to include thermal secondary glazing solutions to the existing ornate timber windows. 


Secondary Glazing involves adding another slim-line window in addition to your existing windows. It is a cost effective and efficient method of insulating & sound proofing your windows. By fitting our Secondary Glazing you could save around 10% on your heating bills. The Energy Saving Trust states that it is an ‘ideal solution if you are unable to replace your existing windows with double glazing’. Secondary glazing is perfect for use in Listed Buildings and conservation areas. Made from strong light weight aluminium, it can be made to be very slim and discreet. Considered a reversible change, secondary glazing is recommended by English Heritage and the Listed Property Owners Club.
