Many congratulations to Stephen F Walker http://www.sfwproperty.com who has received a town’s Civic Society ‘2017 New Building Commendation for a Contemporary House’ because they judged it as a building which ‘significantly contributes to the character and environment of the town’.


 

The project was for a new house to replace an older one in the Green Belt and in a buffer zone to a Conservation Area. This recognition is particularly pleasing as the same society were one of several organisations who were originally against the development and made the planning application process an especially challenging one!

Marlin Windows are proud to have supplied the glazing for this prestigious new build property.

These are slim Heritage 47 fixed light frame samples for one of our clients, the perfect aluminium glazing solution for this application where the framework needs to be as slim as possible to create maximum glass areas.

Slim Heritage 47 windows have been specified for the casement windows to the front and side elevations with Reynaers curtain wall feature windows and CP155 sliding doors to the rear elevation. The Reynaers CP155 lift-slide doors to the rear ground floor location will be the largest scheme we have made to date at 12 metres wide and 2.3 metres high    .

ARRIVING JULY 2016 – we have recently invested in a new Elumatec DG104 6 metre compound double mitre saw.

This high quality automatic machine will increase our general sawing capacity whilst allowing us to cut larger and more complex aluminium profiles with greater accuracy.
